English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) - weekly

We offer two classes for those wishing to learn English as an additional language; one conversational class and the other a more advanced version.  Conversational English is a gentle introduction for those who are new to the language, and the other class is for those who are more advanced speakers.

It is friendly and welcoming and classes are free.

We provide a crèche for children under five in the same hall. Our classes are just right for you if any one of the following circumstances apply to you:

  • Are local to Ladywood

  • Don't go to college

  • Are a refugee or asylum seeker

Our volunteer teachers are very friendly and flexible. They will help you improve your day-to-day English. We have no exams or accreditation and are a great stepping-stone to college when people feel more confident.
Fridays, during school term time, 10am - 12 noon

Please call us on 0121 455 7524 to check there are places, or visit us.
